Before you take this drug:
Do not take this drug if you:
Are allergic to the main ingredient or to any other ingredients of the drug.
Have a blockage of the stomach, urinary tract or intestines.
Have uncontrolled or untreated narrow-angle glaucoma
Tell your doctor if you:
Have liver or kidney disease
Have personal or family history of ?Long QT syndrome?, glaucoma, myasthenia gravis.
Are pregnant or planning to be pregnant or breast feeding your baby.
Are taking any other medicines so that he can check for possible drug interaction
Are suffering from any other medical conditions
Dosage:
How much to take the drug?
The dosage will be fixed by your doctor after taking into consideration several factors such as age, weight, severity of condition, response to treatment, drug interaction and other factors. Usually the recommended dose is 2 mg twice daily or 4 mg once daily.
How to take the drug?
The drug is to be taken by mouth with the help of a glass of water. It should be taken as a whole and not crushed. It is best to take the medicine after taking some food.

Overdose:
Call your doctor or get medical attention as soon as possible if there is an overdose of Tolterodine Tartrate. Overdose of the medicine should be avoided as it may lead to several side effects such as fast heartbeat, blurred vision and dry mouth.
Miss dose:

Anti-arrrhythmic drugs like quinidine and amiodarone
Azole antifungals like? ketoconazole and itraconazole.
Antiviral drug ritonavir
Anticholinergics like atropine and scopolamine
Antidpressant fluoxetine
