What is Tiniba 500 Tablet?

Tiniba 500 Tablet is a prescription antibiotic and antiprotozoal medication containing tinidazole (500 mg), a nitroimidazole derivative. Manufactured by Zydus Cadila, it is used to treat bacterial and parasitic infections in adults and children over 3 years old. Tinidazole works by penetrating the cells of bacteria or protozoa and damaging their DNA, inhibiting growth and replication. It is effective against anaerobic bacteria and protozoa such as Trichomonas vaginalis, Giardia duodenalis, and Entamoeba histolytica. The tablet is taken orally, typically with food to reduce stomach irritation.

Side Effects
